I started dreaming about it with my business partner in mid 2021. It's been a slow but certain learning process around online businesses: I conducted market research, strategy and validation; lead the website and brand development; co-created our business plan, among everything else needed being a solo-enrepreneur.

As part of a year-long intensive program I learned web design and fell in love with no-code. I created the website for holibody.com and after that I helped other entrepreneurs make their sites look more beautiful and functional. Now I collaborate with a Spanish digital consultant designing and optimizing websites of any kind.

I conducted the full hiring cycle of half of the team, managed internal policies and protocols, coordinated communities of social entrepreneurs and higher education institutions, as well as supported a multicultural team based across timezones with people operations. Ptss! Here I led the development of Wellbeing Connect: a platform that we rapidly created to support social change-makers' mental health through the recent pandemic.

From the Liaison Office with the European Commission at the Ministry of Education and Culture in Uruguay I'd work as a project officer for the Horizon 2020 program (now Horizon Europe) disseminating funding opportunities, delivering capacity building workshops, we coordinated the CELAC National Contact Points Network.
 

I researched global benefits for benchmarking, presented the prevalence and efficiency of corporate plans, prepared reports of the market practice and in general had a pretty repetitive job which strengthened my analytical skills but left me longing for more meaningful work. 
 

It was my first approach to formal human resources. For this internship I updated all personnel data base, joined prospects interviews and did a lot of admin tasks. I discovered I enjoy supporting groups of people and reassuring them. 
 

To finance a study trip to Salamanca, Spain I worked over the summer season as an hotel receptionist. Here's where I discovered how outstanding my hospitality can be. I still treasure that experience welcoming guests, coordinating the restaurant and cleaning personnel and enjoying solving typical problems.
